Barn Cats I was just photographing a dairy farm in upstate Ny (not the Hudson Valley but upstate along the Canadian border) and there were lots of cats. Unfortunately, farms are a common drop-off point for unwanted cats. “You here a car slow, pause then take off and then you see a box and in the box are kittens.” The farmers at this last farm accepted them into their home. An impromptu orphanage for cats. They are fed supplemental meals between their mousing and always seem quite happy but also a bit wild.
